Bobo Social is a small, independent chain of eateries in London with two locations: Charlotte Street and Elephant and Castle. While the recently-launched Fitzrovia branch is all about experimental burgers, the original site in South London offers an all-day dining menu with everything from brunch classics to a set three courses.
Whether you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a catch up with friends or even a special birthday meal out, Bobo Social's beautiful interiors makes it a great location for any kind of meet-up. Think distressed walls, artfully hung pictures and low-lit atmospheric lighting.
In the day time, you can tuck into the brunch menu (which changes from week to weekend) and is impressively extensive. Start with a cocktail like a Mimosa, Bloody Mary or Aperol Spritz, perhaps a Hyaluronic Chocolate which mixes oat milk, coconut milk, 85% cacao, cacao nibs, organic coconut flakes, agave and Hyaluronic Acid. If skincare is your thing, check out the other 'skin drinks' which pack a punch with a mix of cold pressed fruits, vegetables and the likes of Marine Collagen. Food wise, diners can enjoy everything from a full English, shakshouka and eggs florentine, as well as house granola and buttermilk pancakes.
Planning a dinner date? The a la carte offers a selection of crowd pleasers such as a sophisticated take on fish and chips with crispy beer battered haddock, hand cut Koffmann’s chips and mint pea puree, as well as the delicious-sounding mushroom and truffle linguine, and miso salmon topped with orange, chives, and Manuka honey drizzle on a bed of samphire and steamed Jasmine rice.
Our top tip? Try the Bobo burger - the new Charlotte Street branch is the place to go for wacky but wonderful burgers, but you can get a taste here, too. Here, you can pick your own ingredients including the likes of peanut butter, bacon, blue cheese and caramalised onion.
