Located in Orford in the Suffolk countryside, and only a short drive from the Suffolk coast, The Crown and Castle is the perfect place to switch off from everyday life and enjoy some well-earnt downtime. In the summer months you can expect vibrant flowers, Suffolk blue skies, and alfresco dining with views of the 12th-century Orford castle, and in the winter, roaring log fires in the lounge, a homely feel and comforting cuisine.

There's nothing better than booking a getaway, but we also understand that sometimes best made plans may have to change.
Our Flexible Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package gives guests the option to cancel their booking and receive a refund (minus their deposit) when they cancel by 2pm at least 48 hours prior to their arrival date* (subject to booking value).
Plus, we'll upgrade your £25 dinner allowance in our restaurant to £30, saving you £10 per couple.

Our selection of fine wines makes the perfect pairing for an evening well spent, and our outdoor terrace provides a fantastic view of Orford castle, the best seat in the house in the sunnier months.

We all know the real star of the family is those with four legs and a furry tail. Bring your beloved pooch along to Orford and enjoy your Suffolk getaway to the fullest. 5 of our Garden bedrooms are designated paw-friendly rooms, we also have a doggy table in the restaurant, be sure to book this early to avoid disappointment!
