Atelier Coupette is a restaurant and cocktail bar with a difference in the heart of Soho. Describing itself as a creative hub, guests are invited on an immersive journey, with each dish and cocktail telling its own unique story. The concept was born out of its sister site Coupette in Bethnal Green. Riffing on its ‘Sunday Development Sessions’, which saw the bar serve half-sized drinks to allow diners to discover a broader range, it’s since brought the concept to this site in Soho. Expect experimental creations that push the boundaries of both flavour, texture and presentation.
The cocktail menu at Atelier Coupette always aims to use sustainable and seasonal produce where possible. Discover signature creations as well as frozen and boozeless options. Examples include a PB J featuring strawberry and banana peel liqueur and peanut milk, and a Summer Truffe Negroni with gun, Campari and pickled truffle vermouth. While non-alcoholic cocktails include Pear & Ricotta featuring, you guessed it, ricotta cheese and matcha.
Elsewhere on the menu, discover a range of wines and bubbles, with affordable options by the glass or bottle, as well as an extensive spirit list which you can order by the shot.
The food menu is just as innovative as the drinks. Designed to perfectly complement the cocktails, it serves a menu of French-inspired small plates centred around simple presentation and seasonal ingredients. The menu is split into meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan plates, and includes the likes of confit duck leg with duck breast, puy lentils, soy and honey sauce and crispy duck skin, chargrilled octopus with chorizo and romesco, and heritage carrots with goat’s curd, pesto and mixed seeds. There are sweet options too: an assortment of cakes including pistachio cream or freeze dried strawberry.
