The Grange hotel is extremely comfortable and I thoroughly recommend it, but, the restaurant is not worth the money and the quality of food is poor. I ordered two courses. I ordered a rib-eye steak, rare, and not one bit was pink. The steak seemed to be a “minute” one, it was so thin you could nearly see through it! food portions are tiny. I also ordered a creme brulee, which amounted to about two dessert spoon fulls. I accept we ordered at 9.45pm but i believe the quality of food should stay the same throughout the service period, we were rushed along as the service ended at 10pm, it was a very very disappointing meal.
