Spanish restaurant group Brindisa Kitchens has relaunched its Shoreditch site Tramontana with a new look and name. Inspired by owner Monika Linton’s childhood, this branch now specialises in Mediterranean and southern/eastern Spanish cuisine. Open all day, morning diners can enjoy baked goods and coffees; come lunchtime, there’s a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, including chorizo rolls. The evening crowd enjoys traditional rice dishes and classic tapas with a focus on seafood, such as the signature paella marinera with prawn, cuttlefish and mussels. Meanwhile, sweet offerings include bocadillo de helado con chocolate (bee pollen ice-cream sandwiches with chocolate sauce). The wine list celebrates Spain, while the alfresco area at the back makes this the perfect place for Catalonia dreaming.
