Wood-fired pizza specialist Homeslice has well and truly got its feet under London’s table: having upgraded from pop up to permanent Covent Garden home, this second 70-cover restaurant is spinning out 20” crispy-based pizzas in Fitzrovia. This venue provides a contrast to the Seven Dials site’s stark, bright décor as well as an expanded menu, a basement cocktail bar, takeaway counter and space outside too. You will find creative toppings combinations along the lines of moist pork belly with chimichurri and smoked onions or white anchovy with chard and Doddington cheese. Local lagers, craft beers and Prosecco on tap and house wines delivered in measurable magnums (simply pay for what you drink) will feature on the drinks list.
