Put on your dancing shoes: this Caribbean playhouse is home to one frenetic bar, where rum cocktails provide the fuel for a night of booty shaking to bass-heavy beats. More than 270 rums find their way here, and come mixed into potent concoctions such as the Koko Kolada (with pineapple and nutmeg) and the Million Dollar Daiquiri (with mint, cane syrup and Champagne). With happy ‘hour’ 5-7pm daily, the nights start early. Food almost takes a backseat, though you can order dishes from all over the Islands in the three topsy-turvy dining rooms. Naturally, jerk seasoning makes numerous appearances, but there’s also Bajan fish fritters, Trinidadian seafood curry and beef pepper pot. Grumbles over slapdash cooking and idle service suggest the bar is Cottons’ soundest asset.
