Silvermere Inn on the Lake is a multi-purpose events venue set in the Surrey countryside, surrounded by woodland and perched on the edge of a charming lake. While its idyllic setting feels far, far away, it has great transport links and is in fact close to the A3 and M25, ideal for guests coming from further afield.
If you’re looking to host a private dining event, there are plenty of options at the Silvermere Inn with both the bistro, bar and function rooms available for hire. If a family get-together or birthday is the order of the day, and you’re simply looking for a larger-than-usual table, you can book for up to 10 people on the larger tables in the bistro, or take over a semi-private area in the back of the restaurant which has space for 20 people. The bistro has a classic-contemporary look and informal feel, with great views of the water which can be enjoyed from outdoor seating in the warmer months.
If planning a big bash, there are two function rooms which can be taken over completely for whatever event or occasion you have in mind. The Lake Suite can seat up to 120 guests for a three course meal, has loads of floor space and large windows which look out to the lake. Decor, signs, floral arrangements, chair backs and centre pieces for the tables can all be arranged and the events team will be more than happy to ensure that your event looks just as you’d like it to.
In terms of food, Silvermere Inn on the Lake has plenty of options which you can look through and decide what kind of format would work best for you. Ideas include a finger buffet, BBQ, sliders and afternoon tea, as well as canapes, nibbles and fish and chip cones. If you’re looking for a more intimate space, the Rydal Suite can seat 60 guests and is flooded with natural light, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, making for a lovely space to host an event in the summer.
