KöD London is a Danish-style steak house located in east London's Devonshire Square, offering a northern European take on a US classic. The brand is already a hit in Norway and Denmark, and its first UK outpost promises to bring hygge to London.
With low lighting, simple design and a mix of natural materials, KöD London has a relaxed feel and atmospheric vibe. If you're looking for a sophisticated spot to host your next birthday or work night out - provided that all the guests you're inviting are most definitely carnivores - then, KöD London is a great place for functions and offers a range of private dining rooms.
The upstairs restaurant floor has space for 85 covers and this entire area can be hired out. It comes with its own private bar so you and your pals can prop up the counter and get drinks whenever you like - it's your own private party after all.
The ground floor restaurant has a similar set up with, again, enough room for 60 guests and exclusive use of the bar. This floor also benefits from heavy curtains which divide up the space, cutting the room into thirds. Each third has seats for 14 people and enough space to mingle, chat and move around a bit, too.
Finally, the private dining room is a narrow space with inky, panelled walls, wooden beams overhead and industrial seating. It's as slick as they come, and a sultry space for an intimate dinner for between eight and 14 people.
When booking a private space, the restaurant offers a group dining menu which offers two, three or four courses. There's no need to choose between the options as each course is served in sharing style and so you'll get a taste of everything. Expect the likes of Scottish grass-fed ribeye, crispy chicken thighs, steak chips with fresh thyme and Ceaser salad, all spead down the table and complemented with starters and dessert, too.
