The Lucky Pig is a late-night cocktail bar in Fitzrovia which describes itself as a place where 'no one is judged on their shoes or their hair cut, just dance the night away'.
The bar has an irreverent, eclectic feel and is named partly after renown American mob boss ‘Lucky’ Luciano, and partly after the 'blind pig' watering holes where people gathered during the Prohibition to drink and dance in secret. It's this air of frivolity which imbues the venue and makes it a great place to be let loose and be merry.
In terms of the space, The Lucky Pig is an underground bar so expect a cosy enclave. There are several smaller snugs and booths coming off the main area, all of which are decorated in a vintage style, mixing distressed walls and beaten-up Chesterfield sofas with an ornate gold bar, chandeliers and plush red curtains.
It's possible to hire just a booth, smaller space or take over the entire venue for your event. The team ask, if possible, to meet face-to-face to tour the space, chat through your wants and needs, and provide a bespoke quote. The good news is there is no minimum spend for The Lucky Pig, and the venue also boasts a late licence so that the party can continue into the wee hours.
As you would expect, the cocktail selection is on-point with a selection of house signatures like the Burlesque Old Fashioned which mixes Dead Man Fingers Spiced rum, Bittermens Burlesque bitters, homemade apple, cinnamon and cardamom syrup, alongside all the classics.
There's also a food menu with sharing platters and canapes for casual dining or a whole host of hearty pizzas if you're looking for larger plates. For birthdays, weddings or other happy occasions, you can also order a selection of bespoke cupcakes for your special day.
